How one of the General Store Depot of Northern Railway solved the problem of scrap data management.
The Northern Railway (NR) is one of the 19 railway zones of India, officially notified on April 14, 1952.
The General Store Depot, Alambagh Lucknow, holds & manages thousands of 'stock' (regularly required) and ‘non-stock’ (occasionally required) items in its depots. These items are largely spare parts and consumables for diesel and electric locomotives, coaches, freight wagons, railway tracks, and other machines.
